Steve Layman - The history of our relationship with UVA and specifically with Professor Ed Murphy.
Karl Stein - The Importance of knowing the "road map to one's hobby".
Rich Drumm - Our relationship with Big Meadow and what we do up there. Why we go, how often the events occur and what we do in good weatehr and in bad weather.
Ed Preston - An explanation of our CAS Mentor Program. How we offer mentors to newbies, who are our mentors, how are they assigned and how to engage them. The 3rd Saturday evening Leander McCormick Observatory Mentor registration will also be discussed.
Mark Ownsby - Details about the CAS annual picnic on September 1st with an explanation of the logistics and what we will do there will be discussed. -
Meeting conducted at University of Virginia's McCormick Observatory starting at 7 pm. CAS members and non-members are all welcome.
