Group Night at McCormick Observatory
CAS will host this private event for an astronomy presentation in the classroom and then the group will observe the night sky with 26" McCormick telescope. The group this evening will be a local home school group of about 20 attendees of 7th to 10th graders, siblings and parents.

Guests will be instructed in constellation identification, astronomical objects locations and how to use binoculars for astronomy. Don't forget we will have a full lunar eclipse this month! Eclipse starts at about 9:30 pm and will be full eclipse about 11:30 pm. Full Eclipse until 12:53 am and then partial eclipse for the next two hours.
