Group Nights at McCormick Observatory

St. Anne’s Cub Scouts will visit McCormick Observatory this evening with about 20 children from 7 to 11 years old and about 6 adults.  Both groups will get an astronomy presentation and will get to view some objects in the night sky with the historic McCormick 26″ telescope.  Larry Saunders will make an astronomy presentation, Chris Nichols will operate the 26″ McCormick telescope and Steve Layman will show the group using telescopes in the next door mini observatory, the Doghouse.
