First Friday Solar Observing at Ivy Creek Natural Area

Steve Layman, President of the Charlottesville Astronomical Society, will host a Solar Observing Session at Ivy Creek Natural Area on every other First Friday of the month.  From 12 Noon to 12:30 pm, Steve will make a astronomical presentation in the Education Center and then will provide solar observing using  telescopes with special filters for safely observing the Sun.
